Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is currently halfway through the four-year agreement he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The veteran forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the first major honor of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
